On Sept., 22nd, we undertook our annual excursion to the fabulous Unimog Museum in Gaggenau. The Unimog (Universal-Motor-Gerät) is an all-wheel drive medium truck and a living legend produced by Mercedes Benz. It's longevity - a period of use of more than 30 years is not uncommon - is one of it's trademarks. So is it's versatility. An exciting guided tour by our inspiring guide enlighted us on the history and technology of this remarkable vehicle.

In the afternoon, a short hike to Schloss Eberstein followed, where we had lunch and coffee in the picturesque scenery of the adjacent vineyards, which rounded off this special day.
