Prof. Jörg Henkel has been appointed the Chair of the Steering Committee of the IEEE Transactions on VLSI Sstems. His appointment was made by the President of the IEEE Computer Society Jean-Luc Gaudiotin and the Vice President of Publications IEEE Computer Society Greg Byrd.
Prof. Henkel succeeds in this role the former Steering Committee Chair Prof. Niraj Jha from Princeton University.
